Job Description: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our office, ensuring that all business operations are conducted efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
- Assist with bookkeeping and budgeting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing outstanding service.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of products.
- Organize meetings, manage calendars, and provide logistical support to the management team.
- Support marketing and sales efforts by managing social media platforms and updating the company website.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Experience with bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks, is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent: additional qualification in Office Administration is a plus.

Aquatic Technician
Location: Alma, IL. & Carlinville, IL.
Job Description:
Shoreline Aquatics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aquatic Technician to join our team. This role involves the management and maintenance of ponds, lakes, and other aquatic environments to ensure optimal health and aesthetics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental stewardship, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of aquatic environments to identify issues such as algae growth, invasive vegetation, and water quality concerns.
- Apply treatments such as algaecides, herbicides, and beneficial bacteria in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Install and maintain aeration systems, fountains, and other aquatic equipment.
- Perform physical tasks such as debris removal, shoreline maintenance, and rock border placement.
- Collect water samples for pH, oxygen, and nutrient testing, and report findings.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including sprayers, boats, and small machinery.
- Ensure job sites are clean and free from litter or debris following completion of tasks.
- Assist with dredging operations or other large-scale pond/lake restoration projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in environmental sciences or related fields is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physical labor.
- Experience with herbicides, algaecides, or other aquatic treatments is preferred but not required (training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
